  • Hello! Welcome to SCBWI Inland Northwest! We have approximately 100 SCBWI members living throughout eastern Washington and North Idaho, with the highest percentage in the Spokane area. There are several ways to connect with our community. Don’t forget to log in, many features and resources are accessible to members only. 1. Email your Local Coordinator (found on our homepage) to find out about critique groups, workshops, and other events close to home. If you don’t see a coordinator for your area, email your Regional Advisor. 2. Create an SCBWI member profile. Log on, visit: My Home/Edit Profile, and add your details. 3. Be sure the email address listed in your profile is current. 4. Add and to your “Safe Senders” list so our emails aren’t mistakenly sent to your spam folder. You can view our newsletter, Creative Currents, by clicking the Newsletter link on the right. 5. Follow us on social media.  Let us know you’re an Inland Northwest member and what you’re working on. The Inland Northwest SCBWI is a professional organization serving children’s and YA writers & illustrators in eastern Washington & North Idaho. The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators is an international organization run almost entirely by volunteers. We rely on the time, talent, and energy of our members to continue our exceptional programming.
