Welcome! We are the Inland Northwest members of the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators. We live throughout eastern Washington and North Idaho.
We write, illustrate, and translate stories for children and teens. Our members are published and pre-published. Anyone interested in creating literature and art for children is encouraged to join!
There are several ways SCBWI members connect with their local & global communities.
1. Attend an upcoming event.
2. Create an SCBWI member profile. Log in, visit: My Home/Edit Profile, and add your details.
3. Read the SCBWI INW monthly newsletter. Our newsletter is sent by email, so make sure inlandnw@scbwi.org is added to your email contacts list.
4. Visit SCBWI’s discussion board with all your kid lit questions.
5. Find a writing group.
6. Connect with SCBWI INW on social media.
