Is Your Character Driving the Story or is the Plot Pushing Them Around?

Satisfying, gripping stories are driven by character choices, good and bad. This workshop will help you make sure protagonist decisions are pushing the plot, and give you tools and techniques to turn up the tension and keep readers turning the pages.

A former children’s librarian, Dan Gemeinhart is the author of five acclaimed middle grade novels: THE HONEST TRUTH, SOME KIND OF COURAGE, SCAR ISLAND, GOOD DOG, and THE REMARKABLE JOURNEY OF COYOTE SUNRISE. His books have won the Washington State Book Award and Amazon Best Book of the Year, as well as several state awards. A Gonzaga graduate, he lives in Cashmere, WA with his wife and three daughters.

The Inland Northwest Region is in the Pacific Time Zone.
Zoom webinar invitations will be sent before Noon (PST) on Thursday, April 16. Participants can join the live webinar or watch the recording. A link to the recorded presentation will be sent before Noon (PST) on April 17. It will be available for viewing through April 30.
